FEARFUL DOG CLASS
Cani'Laz
A class to help your fearful dog feel better so you can have together a more peaceful and enjoyable life.
This one-on-one class is for dogs showing fear based behaviors (paralysis, flight or aggression), to one or more elements of their daily life. This course is particularly suitable for dogs which have been traumatized, are or issue from feral ("street dogs") or in transition (newly arrived in the household or following changes in the household).
THE SESSIONS
During those one-on-one, 30 min sessions, in a calm, controlled and supportive environment, you will learn to:
-
Read your dog's body language, identify his stress signals, and how to respond appropriately
-
Use positive and effective methods to change how your dog feel about its triggers
-
Teach him skills to be able to better navigate the world
-
Help him build trust, confidence, and resilience
To achieve optimal results, the "Initial Fearful Dog Package" includes three sessions spaced 14 days apart, thus establishing a solid foundation. Depending on your circumstances and needs, follow-up sessions called "Fearful Dog Follow-up" can be considered thereafter.
A collaboration with a behavioral veterinarian can also be undertaken if necessary.
